KYARA began awkwardly. From wide barriers, CALIFORNIA DUDE and CERISE CHERRY were taken across behind runners shortly after the start. At the entrance to the Straight, VOILE ROUGE became unbalanced when bumped by FULFIL A WISH (M L Yeung) which shifted out across the heels of CROWN WITNESS in an attempt to find clear running. In this incident, FULFIL A WISH clipped the heels of CROWN WITNESS. M L Yeung was severely reprimanded and advised that he must ensure that he has sufficient clearance when shifting out from behind other runners and that he must not place undue pressure on other runners to obtain clear running. Approaching the 200 Metres, FULFIL A WISH was steadied when disappointed for running between VOILE ROUGE and CROWN WITNESS. Over the final 100 Metres, VOILE ROUGE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of TIME AFTER TIME. Because of this, VOILE ROUGE was not able to be ridden out to the end of the race. Throughout the race, TIME AFTER TIME travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of CROWN WITNESS and FULFIL A WISH after the race did not show any significant findings. TIME AFTER TIME, KYARA and CHATER WAY were sent for sampling. <26/3/2012 Additional Veterinary Report> FULFIL A WISH, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said at that time there were no significant findings. FULFIL A WISH was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer J Size this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg with stiff action in both front legs. Before being allowed to race again, FULFIL A WISH will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
