SUPREME KNIGHT was slow to begin. Shortly after the start, KEEN WONGCHOY was steadied when crowded for room between SUPER GOODIES and G-ONE WINNING, both of which shifted ground. After the 1200 Metres, EIGHT PLUS NINE got its head up on a number of occasions and proved difficult to settle when being steadied to race outside the lead. Passing the 700 Metres, KEEN WONGCHOY got its head up on a number of occasions when awkwardly placed close to the heels of PROLIFIC CHAMPION. Near the 600 Metres, HOLY MAC was steadied away from the heels of G-ONE WINNING. Rounding the Home Turn, SUPER GOODIES got its head on the side and lay out. From on straightening until passing the 200 Metres, G-ONE WINNING got its head on the side, hung in and proved difficult to ride. A veterinary inspection of AEROSA after the race revealed that the horse had bled from both nostrils. A veterinary inspection of SUPER GOODIES after the race did not show any significant findings. KEEN WONGCHOY and G-ONE WINNING were sent for sampling.
