ERNEST FEELING shifted in at the start and bumped GOLDEN FOUR.
MISSION SMART began awkwardly.
STAR OF RED began awkwardly and shifted out, resulting in RED BRICK FIGHTER being crowded for room inside AMAZING NEWS which was bumped by RED BRICK FIGHTER.
From a wide barrier, VICTORIOUS LEADER was steadied on jumping and shifted across behind runners.
Also from wide barriers, WINWIN THIRTYTHREE and MOONLUCK were steadied to obtain cover in the early stages.
Approaching the 1300 Metres, DRAGON BABY travelled keenly when being steadied to obtain cover.
Passing the 1100 Metres, WINWIN THIRTYTHREE got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of AMAZING NEWS which itself was awkwardly placed behind VIVA CHEF. After this, AMAZING NEWS travelled keenly.
After the 1100 Metres, ERNEST FEELING travelled keenly.
Passing the 800 Metres, DRAGON BABY was steadied away from the heels of ERNEST FEELING.
WINWIN THIRTYTHREE had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight.
SICOMORO was held up for clear running from near the 350 Metres until passing the 200 Metres.
Throughout the race, RED BRICK FIGHTER travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of STAR OF RED immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of SPEEDY DRAGON immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils.
MISSION SMART, RED BRICK FIGHTER and AMAZING NEWS were sent for sampling.
