As the start was effected, GOD OF DRAGON stood flat-footed and consequently was very slow to begin. Before being allowed to race again, GOD OF DRAGON will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. TURQUOISE ALPHA and RIGHT AS RAIN bumped on jumping. After this, despite being vigorously ridden along, TURQUOISE ALPHA failed to muster speed. ROBOT WARRIOR shifted out at the start, resulting in SUPER ELEGANCE being bumped and taken out onto LOTUS FAVORITES which was hampered. After this, both LOTUS FAVORITES and SUPER ELEGANCE were shifted across behind runners to obtain cover. From a wide barrier, SUNNY DELIGHT was shifted across behind runners shortly after the start. After initially being shifted across behind runners from a wide barrier, EEVEE was left racing wide after the 1400 Metres and was then allowed to improve its position, however, travelled wide and without cover throughout. SUNNY DELIGHT travelled keenly for some distance after the 1600 Metres while TURQUOISE ALPHA travelled keenly for some distance after the 1500 Metres. After the 1000 Metres, PERFECT TO GREAT momentarily raced in restricted room inside the heels of PERFECT MARYKNOLL. Near the 350 Metres, RED ELYSEES raced tight outside SACRED IBIS which shifted out. A veterinary inspection of ROBOT WARRIOR, EEVEE and LOTUS FAVORITES immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. RIGHT AS RAIN, PERFECT MARYKNOLL and LOOKING COOL were sent for sampling.
