BEAR HERO was withdrawn on 19.4.13 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore). Before being allowed to race again, BEAR HERO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. LITTLE COW, which was leaning on the inside of its stall as the start was effected, began awkwardly. ABLE WARRIOR also began awkwardly. Approaching the 800 Metres, PRETTY ONE got its head on the side and lay out, resulting in O Doleuze changing his whip into his left hand. Passing the 400 Metres, PRETTY ONE was awkwardly placed outside the heels of ABLE WARRIOR. Near the 350 Metres, COUR VALANT was shifted in away from the heels of LONDON CHINA TOWN. After the race, G Mossé reported that REGENCY LUCK lay in throughout the race and did not feel comfortable in its action. A veterinary inspection of REGENCY LUCK immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, REGENCY LUCK will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. AMBER SKY, CALIFORNIA BOUNTY and LITTLE COW were sent for sampling.
