FRIENDS SUPPORT was slow to begin. DIVIDEND CHAMPION became unbalanced when heavily bumped shortly after the start by MY BEST CHOICE which began awkwardly and shifted in. From wide barriers, ZEPHYRUS and CELESTIAL WORLD were taken across behind runners shortly after the start. At the 1200 Metres, VANQUISH DELIGHT shifted in and inconvenienced MASTER ELITE. Passing the 250 Metres, TELECOM TOP STAR was steadied away from the heels of LET’S GOAL which shifted out. ZEPHYRUS had difficulty obtaining clear running until near the 200 Metres. Throughout the race, TELECOM TOP STAR travelled wide and without cover. After the race, an endoscopic examination was conducted on CELESTIAL WORLD at the request of Trainer A Lee. The Veterinary Surgeon said this examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Before being allowed to race again, CELESTIAL WORLD will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of PROSPERITY and MY BEST CHOICE after the race did not show any significant findings. FLYING CHAPARRAL and DIVIDEND CHAMPION were sent for sampling.
