BRAVE HEART began awkwardly and then for a short distance after the start raced in restricted room between CAPTAIN MARVEL and STAR OF FAME which was taken in by ROMANTIC CITY. On jumping, B Doyle (GRACYTOM) lost the use of his left stirrup iron which he re-gathered shortly after the start. Near the 650 Metres, GRACYTOM shifted out when awkwardly placed close to the heels of CAPTAIN MARVEL which resulted in BRAVE HEART being awkwardly placed close to the heels of STAR OF FAME which was crowded for room inside MASTER TOUCH. At the entrance to the Straight, STAR OF FAME was steadied away from the heels of WASABISABI which itself was steadied away from the heels of VINTAGE HUSSLER when that horse was taken out by FLYING BLUE. CAPTAIN SWEET and FLYING BLUE were sent for sampling.
