When proceeding to the Start, FREE JUDGEMENT kicked a rail. On arrival at the Start, FREE JUDGEMENT was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. Making the turn after the winning post on the first occasion, KYARA got its head up on a number of occasions and proved very difficult to settle. KYARA then continued to over-race badly and near the 1300 Metres shifted out, resulting in LITTLE DREAMS being crowded for room inside JUN GONG. After this KYARA continued to over-race for some distance. After being left racing wide, BEAUTY LEAD was allowed to stride forward after the 1200 Metres and obtained a position outside the lead near the 800 Metres. Rounding the Home Turn and in the early part of the Straight, FREE JUDGEMENT and LET ME HANDLE IT raced tight as FREE JUDGEMENT shifted out to obtain clear running. At the entrance to the Straight, CHEETAH BOY shifted out away from the heels of VICTORIUS which was giving ground and in doing so bumped the hindquarters of KYARA. Passing the 200 Metres, JUN GONG was momentarily steadied away from the heels of SILVER GRECIAN which shifted in. Near the 150 Metres, KYARA was shifted out away from the heels of HOT SHOT. After this, KYARA, which was hanging in, was held up for clear running behind JUN GONG and HOT SHOT and consequently was not fully tested over the concluding stages. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that SILVER GRECIAN had lost its left front plate. A veterinary inspection of VICTORIUS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings other than the horse had lost its left front plate. FREE JUDGEMENT and SILVER GRECIAN were sent for sampling. <2/5/2013 Additional Veterinary Report>The Clinical Veterinary Surgeon reported that LITTLE DREAMS was found to be lame in its right front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, LITTLE DREAMS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
