On arrival at the Start, the tongue tie applied to SPEED VISION was adjusted. KING KANALOA began awkwardly and lost ground. Before being allowed to race again, KING KANALOA will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. Just prior to the start being effected, RULETHEROOST turned its head to the right and consequently was very slow to begin. Before being allowed to race again, RULETHEROOST will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. SUPER MODEL lost its left front plate approaching the 1000 Metres. Approaching the 900 Metres, KING KANALOA raced tight inside PACIFIC MASTER which shifted in away from SPEED VISION. PACIFIC MASTER made the turn after the 900 Metres awkwardly and got its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of ROMANTIC BONANZA. Passing the 800 Metres, KING KANALOA and PACIFIC MASTER were crowded for room inside SPEED VISION (J Moreira) which shifted in. J Moreira was reprimanded. After this, PACIFIC MASTER got its head up, lay out and was awkwardly placed inside the heels of SPEED VISION approaching and passing the 700 Metres. ROCKAGE lay out rounding the Home Turn. Approaching the 200 Metres, SUPER MODEL shifted in away from ROMANTIC BONANZA which shifted in under pressure. Z Purton (SUPER MODEL) reported that his mount made a number of abnormal breathing noises throughout the race. An endoscopic examination conducted on SUPER MODEL did not show any abnormality. ROMANTIC BONANZA and SUPER MODEL were sent for sampling.
