Steward Report Predict Pace Map
COUR VALANT began awkwardly and shortly after the start blundered and lost ground after being bumped by SEA DIAMOND which shifted in. IMPERIAL ROME was slow to begin, NOBLE DELUXE was crowded for room on jumping between GREAT STORM and HO IN ONE which shifted out. From the outside barrier, VICTORY MASTER was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the 1200 Metres, COUR VALANT raced awkwardly with its head on the side. For some distance approaching and passing the 900 Metres, NONE OTHER was awkwardly placed close to the heels of NEW VISION. After the 600 Metres, HO IN ONE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of LUGER. Rounding the Home Turn, MULTIVICTORY got its head on the side and lay out. In the early part of the Straight, COUR VALANT was momentarily held up for clear running behind NONE OTHER. After the 400 Metres, NEW VISION and LITTLE MEN bumped. Throughout the race, LITTLE MEN travelled wide and without cover. After the race, T Berry reported that VICTORY MASTER felt short in its action in the Straight. A veterinary inspection of VICTORY MASTER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, VICTORY MASTER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of DR GOOD HABIT and HO IN ONE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. LUGER and MULTIVICTORY were sent for sampling. <7/7/2014 Additional Veterinary Report>DR GOOD HABIT, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said at that time there were no significant findings. DR GOOD HABIT was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer J Size this morning. He said at this time he found the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, DR GOOD HABIT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
