D DAY SUPER began awkwardly and shortly after the start was crowded for room between TAKE THE RAP and GRACYTOM which shifted out after beginning awkwardly. SHARP PRINT was slow to begin. Approaching the 900 Metres, MEGA was checked when crowded for room between DIAMOND KNIGHT which initially got its head on the side and lay out and FABULOUS NOVEMBER which shifted in. No action was taken. Approaching the 600 Metres, DIAMOND KNIGHT raced in restricted room between ELEGANT FRAMES and FABULOUS NOVEMBER which shifted in slightly. After the race, the Veterinary Surgeon reported that DIAMOND KNIGHT had a haematoma to its left front cannon. A veterinary inspection of SOLAR SPIRIT after the race did not show any significant findings. A veterinary inspection of D DAY SUPER after the race revealed that it was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. Before being permitted to race again, D DAY SUPER will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. SOLAR SPIRIT, JUN DAO and FABULOUS NOVEMBER were sent for sampling.
