Near the 600 Metres, POLYMER WIN became badly unbalanced and lost ground when crowded for room outside ALPHA GRAND (T Angland) after initially racing in restricted room to that horse’s outside. T Angland was reprimanded and advised to ensure that he leaves comfortable racing room for runners in similar circumstances. Near the 50 Metres, TOUCH WELL shifted in slightly, resulting in CHARLES THE GREAT being inconvenienced. A veterinary inspection of CHARLES THE GREAT after the race did not show any significant findings. ULTIMATE WINNERS and ALPHA GRAND were sent for sampling.
