PRESENCE shifted out at the start and bumped MALDIVES.
SOULMATE began awkwardly, shifted in and inconvenienced VICTORY PARK. After this, VICTORY PARK was steadied and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.
From the outside barrier, BEAUTY GLORY was also steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.
In the early stages, WIN WIN FIGHTER was shifted across behind runners to obtain a position closer to the rail.
Passing the winning post on the first occasion, PRESENCE raced tight inside MALDIVES which was awkwardly placed close to the heels of SMOOTHIES.
Near the 1400 Metres, SMOOTHIES momentarily raced tight inside FAST PACE which was shifted out abruptly to relieve the crowding to SMOOTHIES. MALDIVES, which was following SMOOTHIES, was awkwardly placed close to the heels of that horse in consequence.
Passing the 700 Metres, VICTORY PARK raced in restricted room inside BEAUTY GLORY which shifted in. VICTORY PARK was then hampered when racing close to the heels of BEAUTY GLORY which came under pressure after the 600 Metres and commenced to give ground. The performance of BEAUTY GLORY, which continued to give ground and which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, BEAUTY GLORY will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of BEAUTY GLORY immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse’s trachea.
At the entrance to the Straight, ZONE D raced tight outside SURREALISM which was taken out by PRESENCE.
Near the 250 Metres, DECRYPT shifted out and brushed SMOOTHIES.
Passing the 250 Metres, PRESENCE and SURREALISM bumped.
A veterinary inspection of SMOOTHIES immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
ZONE D and SOULMATE were sent for sampling.
