HEZA BEAUTY shifted in at the start and bumped SUPER OASIS.
BE READY was bumped on jumping by NOTHING NEW which was taken in by DUBLIN STAR.
SOLID IMPACT and LEWIS bumped at the start.
From the outside barrier, PRIME MINISTER was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After travelling a short distance, SMILING TIME raced tight inside MR CROISSANT.
Passing the 800 Metres, SMILING TIME was awkwardly placed behind MR CROISSANT.
Rounding the Home Turn, SMILING TIME was again awkwardly placed behind MR CROISSANT which itself was awkwardly placed outside BEAUTY CHAMP which shifted to the outside of MERCURIAL. After this, MR CROISSANT gave ground and finished tailed out. A veterinary inspection of MR CROISSANT immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils.
Passing the 400 Metres, DUBLIN STAR raced in restricted room between PRIME MINISTER and SUPER OASIS which shifted out.
Throughout the race, LEWIS travelled wide and without cover.
On return to the stable, LEWIS was noted to have blood at both nostrils. A subsequent endoscopic examination of LEWIS confirmed the horse to have bled.
A veterinary inspection of SMILING TIME and MERCURIAL immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
BEAUTY CHAMP, PRIME MINISTER and NOTHING NEW were sent for sampling.
