GO FOR TEA was crowded for room on jumping between GENERAL WINNER which shifted in and KASI FARASI which was racing tight outside COURAGEOUS KNIGHT which shifted out. RING BELLS began awkwardly and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. From wide barriers, SOARING TOWER and WONDER YEARS were also shifted across behind runners in the early stages. When being steadied in an endeavour to obtain cover, MILLENNIUM FALCON travelled keenly in the early stages. MILLENNIUM FALCON was then left racing wide and without cover after the 1200 Metres. When racing wide and without cover, MILLENNIUM FALCON continued to travel keenly and made the turn near the 800 Metres awkwardly and then made the Home Turn very wide. Approaching and passing the 1100 Metres, FANTASY SPRING proved difficult to settle when racing outside the lead. Near the 750 Metres, COURAGEOUS KNIGHT was awkwardly placed behind FANTASY SPRING. GENERAL WINNER had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight and after the 400 Metres was shifted out away from the heels of COURAGEOUS KNIGHT. Near the 250 Metres, COURAGEOUS KNIGHT was momentarily awkwardly placed outside the heels of FANTASY SPRING which shifted out. After the race, M Chadwick stated that COURAGEOUS KNIGHT travelled keenly in the early and middle stages due to the slow tempo of the race. He said due to COURAGEOUS KNIGHT not settling as he had hoped, the horse was therefore not able to finish off the race in the Straight. A veterinary inspection of COURAGEOUS KNIGHT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. PINS PRINCE, KASI FARASI and MILLENNIUM FALCON were sent for sampling.
