MOBILE KING, which was leaning on the outside of its stall as the start was effected, began awkwardly. BURGUNDY MAC began only fairly. From wide barriers, YUAN’S FORTUNE and SMART GUY were taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Near the 1500 Metres, DANESOUTH, which was travelling keenly, was steadied away from the heels of ALL MY KINGDOMS. Also near the 1500 Metres, KENSWORTH KID was momentarily awkwardly placed inside the heels of JOLLY GOOD. Approaching the 1200 Metres, KENSWORTH KID was left racing wide and without cover. After the 1200 Metres, JOLLY GOOD got its head up when racing keenly and awkwardly placed close to the heels of GOLD TARTINI. SMART GUY, which was following JOLLY GOOD, was checked away from the heels of that horse in consequence. For some distance in the early part of the Straight, ALL MY KINGDOMS was awkwardly placed inside the heels of WEALTH PARK. Passing the 200 Metres, MOBILE KING was inconvenienced when disappointed for running between STARLIT WARRIOR and WEALTH PARK, both of which were giving ground. Near the 50 Metres, ALL MY KINGDOMS was steadied away from the heels of RAIN OF THUNDER which shifted to the outside of PUBLIC FIGURE into clear running. In the Straight, GOLD TARTINI got its head on the side and lay in. A veterinary inspection of MOBILE KING and RAIN OF THUNDER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. A veterinary inspection of WEALTH PARK immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Before being allowed to race again, WEALTH PARK will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. RAIN OF THUNDER, GOLD TARTINI and YUAN’S FORTUNE were sent for sampling. <4/2/2014 Additional Veterinary Report>RAIN OF THUNDER, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said at that time there were no significant findings. RAIN OF THUNDER was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer P O’Sullivan yesterday morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, RAIN OF THUNDER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
