POWER COOL began awkwardly. DASHING FORTUNE shifted in at the start and hampered PACKING MOTOR which in turn bumped GOOD FRIENDS MAGIC, resulting in that horse being taken in onto LET ME GO which raced in restricted room outside WINNING MASCOT. From the outside barrier, ROCKET PROUD was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. When being steadied to obtain cover after the 1300 Metres, WINNING BOY got its head up and momentarily proved difficult to settle. WINNING BOY again proved difficult to settle after the 1200 Metres when awkwardly placed close to the heels of DRAGON GLORY which shifted in. Near the 350 Metres, LET ME GO was hampered when crowded for room between HAYHAY and FORTUNE BRAVO which got its head on the side and shifted in marginally away from PACKING MOTOR. After this, LET ME GO was awkwardly placed outside the heels of HAYHAY until passing the 300 Metres. WINNING BOY was unable to obtain clear running until near the 200 Metres. For the majority of the race, SILVER DRAGON travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground. A veterinary inspection of SILVER DRAGON immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of SKIP COURT, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, SKIP COURT will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. After the race, A Suborics reported that DRAGON GLORY was making an abnormal breathing noise. A veterinary inspection of DRAGON GLORY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, DRAGON GLORY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of POWER COOL immediately following the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. Before being allowed to race again, POWER COOL will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. DASHING FORTUNE and LET ME GO were sent for sampling.
