TALENTS SUPREMO, which made contact with a rail behind the barriers, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. CAMINO jumped awkwardly, then shifted in and made contact with BAYVIEW STAR. MULTISUPER and LUCKY ENCOUNTER brushed at the start. CIRCUIT SEVEN, which was standing awkwardly in the barriers, was slow to begin. SOARING PENGSHAN (K C Leung) was slow to begin. After the race, K C Leung reported that his mount hung out throughout the event and proved difficult to ride. A veterinary inspection of SOARING PENGSHAN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The racing manners of SOARING PENGSHAN were considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, SOARING PENGSHAN will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial around a bend. SPARKLING KNIGHT jumped awkwardly. Between the 400 Metres and the 200 Metres, HAR HAR AT HEART experienced difficulty obtaining clear running. For a short distance approaching the 300 Metres, TALENTS SUPREMO was held up behind SPARKLING DOLPHIN. When placed under pressure inside the 200 Metres, RED ELEGANCE lay out. In the Straight, CAMINO lay in when placed under pressure. After the race, L Ferraris (FARIBAULT) expressed concern with his mount’s action. A veterinary inspection of FARIBAULT immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, FARIBAULT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. RED ELEGANCE and LUCKY ENCOUNTER were sent for sampling.
