FLYING BONUS, which was leaning on the inside of its gate, began only fairly. ZHAN JIANG ROCKS was steadied shortly after the start to obtain cover. HELLO BEAUTY (Z Purton) shifted in at the start and bumped the hindquarters of AMBITIOUS HEART which became unbalanced and shifted out, resulting in HELLO BEAUTY being taken out and making significant contact with PRANCE DRAGON, causing HELLO BEAUTY and PRANCE DRAGON to become very badly unbalanced and for Z Purton to also become badly unbalanced. In this incident, AMBITIOUS HEART lost its left front plate. From the outside barriers, HARD PROMISE and DANCES WITH DRAGON were shifted across behind runners in the early stages. In the early stages, FLYING BONUS raced greenly. Passing the 750 Metres, FLYING BONUS momentarily raced in restricted room inside OUR HERO which was racing tight inside JING JING WIN. Near the 700 Metres, HARD PROMISE commenced to race keenly and was shifted away from the heels of HELLO BEAUTY, resulting in HARD PROMISE racing wide and without cover. AMBITIOUS HEART lay out rounding the Home Turn. Passing the 300 Metres, KING OPIE was struck on the nose by the whip of U Rispoli (PRANCE DRAGON). Passing the 200 Metres, PRANCE DRAGON was shifted in away from the heels of KING OPIE which shifted in marginally. Passing the 100 Metres, AMBITIOUS HEART, which lay out under pressure, raced tight inside MIGHTY MAVERICK. A veterinary inspection of HELLO BEAUTY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. HANDSOME BO BO, KING OPIE and MIGHTY MAVERICK were sent for sampling. <22/10/2018 Additional Veterinary Report>HELLO BEAUTY, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. HELLO BEAUTY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer J Moore this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, HELLO BEAUTY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
