HUMONGUS was checked when crowded for room at the start between EAST OCEAN which initially shifted out and MEGA CASTLE which then shifted in. HAPPY SCORE and MAKE A FORTUNE were taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Passing the winning post on the first occasion, MEDIC CHAMPION was momentarily steadied away from the heels of TOP POWER which was taken in by NAMJONG TURBO. Passing the 1100 Metres, HAPPY SCORE proved difficult to settle when awkwardly placed close to the heels of MAKE A FORTUNE. Approaching and passing the 600 Metres, SHARP PRINT was steadied away from the heels of MEDIC CHAMPION. After the 600 Metres, EAST OCEAN momentarily raced in restricted room between SHARP PRINT and HAPPY SCORE, both of which shifted ground. Throughout the race, HUMONGUS travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground. A veterinary inspection of HAPPY SCORE and HUMONGUS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. EAST OCEAN, SUPER BRAND and MEGA CASTLE were sent for sampling.
