AGIAAL was withdrawn on 22.10.12 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (left hind limb swelling). Before being allowed to race again, AGIAAL will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Near the 1300 Metres, FLYING IN and FORGIVE AND FORGET were taken wider by ALWAYS SOMETHING which shifted out after being awkwardly placed close to the heels of CLASSIC JEWELLERY when proving difficult to settle. Near the 1000 Metres, HOLLYWOOD KISS was steadied away from the heels of ALWAYS SOMETHING which shifted in when racing close to the heels of CLASSIC JEWELLERY. Near the 400 Metres, FORGIVE AND FORGET was hampered and taken wider after being disappointed for running between FLYING IN and ALWAYS SOMETHING which shifted out. Near the 150 Metres, M Chadwick (CIRCUIT STAR) momentarily dropped his right rein. For the major part of the race, FLYING IN travelled wide and without cover. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of COSTA DEL SOL, Apprentice K C Ng stated that the horse, which was racing at Happy Valley for the first time tonight, after obtaining the position behind the leader, GOOD LUCK WIN, then over-raced and proved difficult to settle. He said because of the manner in which COSTA DEL SOL travelled throughout the race, the horse was then not able to close off its race. A veterinary inspection of COSTA DEL SOL after the race did not show any significant findings. FORGIVE AND FORGET, VICTOR DELIGHT and CLASSIC JEWELLERY were sent for sampling.
