STRAIGHT FORWARD was crowded for room at the start between SUNRISE and DISTILL, both of which shifted ground. From the outside barrier, LEELI’S STAR was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Passing the winning post on the first occasion, VICTOR DELIGHT was steadied away from the heels of REAL SUPREME. Shortly after entering the Straight, ORACLE shifted in and bumped ELEGANCE DESIRE. Passing the 200 Metres, HOLIDAY SUN was steadied when momentarily tightened for room between VICTOR DELIGHT which shifted out and EMPEROR CLAUDIUS which in the Straight hung in badly and proved difficult to ride. Before being allowed to race again, EMPEROR CLAUDIUS will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial. Near the 100 Metres, LEELI’S STAR was awkwardly placed inside the heels of ELEGANCE KLAMMER which shifted in slightly. A veterinary inspection of HOLIDAY SUN and STRAIGHT FORWARD after the race did not show any significant findings. REAL SUPREME, DISTILL and ELEGANCE KLAMMER were sent for sampling.
