When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of LET ME HANDLE IT, B Prebble stated that whilst the tempo of the race was not suited to backmarkers, nonetheless LET ME HANDLE IT was disappointing in that after initially improving into the race well in the early part of the Straight, the horse weakened noticeably on its run over the final 150 Metres. A veterinary inspection of LET ME HANDLE IT after the race did not show any significant findings. DESTINED FOR GLORY, JACOBEEE and FAMILISTS were sent for sampling.
