After being loaded, MY GOAL became fractious and momentarily got its head down under the front gates. MY GOAL was removed from the barriers and examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. Before being allowed to race again, MY GOAL will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. BOUNCER and YUE LU TREASURE bumped at the start. Near the 1000 Metres, LEGEND EXPRESS and JIMSON THE BEST bumped. Passing the 1000 Metres, ROYAL PUMPKIN was awkwardly placed close to the heels of MY GOAL. Near the 800 Metres, LEGEND EXPRESS, which was racing in restricted room between ROYAL PUMPKIN and JIMSON THE BEST (D Whyte) which shifted in slightly, was steadied when ROYAL PUMPKIN shifted out slightly. D Whyte was advised to ensure that he leaves comfortable racing room for runners to his inside in similar circumstances. A veterinary inspection of BOUNCER and WRATH OF FIRE after the race did not show any significant findings. JIMSON THE BEST, BUTTERFIELD and ROYAL PUMPKIN were sent for sampling.
