GOLDEN MISSION jumped only fairly. TYCOON JEWELLERY was slow to begin and then was hampered when crowded by TO INFINITY which was taken in by OVER THE MOON. From the outside barriers, JOLLY HONOUR, FORTUNE WINNER and GLORIOUS LOVER were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Approaching the 1500 Metres, TO INFINITY raced tight to the inside of OVER THE MOON. A short distance later, TO INFINITY was then steadied away from HO HO JUNIOR. Approaching the 150 Metres, GLORIOUS LOVER was directed to the inside of GOLDEN MISSION to continue into clear running. After the race, A Badel (TYCOON JEWELLERY) reported that his mount was not suited by settling in a rearward position with the pace of the event being only run at a moderate tempo. A veterinary inspection of TYCOON JEWELLERY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Also after the race, Apprentice Y L Chung (TO INFINITY) reported that his mount settled back in the field after being caught wide in the early stages and, in his opinion, was not suited by the moderate tempo set throughout the early and middle stages of the event. A veterinary inspection of TO INFINITY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Following the race, Z Purton (JOLLY HONOUR) reported that his mount was not suited by the moderate pace of the event and found it difficult to make up ground in the Straight. A veterinary inspection of JOLLY HONOUR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. OVER THE MOON, FAITHFUL TRINITY and CORDYCEPS ONE were sent for sampling.
