NIMBLE NIMBUS shifted in at the start and bumped EVERYONE’S DELIGHT. BERLIN TANGO and HANDSOME TWELVE both jumped only fairly and were then shifted across behind runners in the early stages. From a wide barrier, CHEERFUL DAYS was also shifted across behind runners in the early stages. HANDSOME TWELVE lay in when under pressure in the Straight. After the race, K Teetan (TELECOM FIGHTERS) stated that he had concerns with his mount’s action in the Straight and therefore when out of contention he did not ride it out to the finish. A veterinary inspection of TELECOM FIGHTERS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, TELECOM FIGHTERS will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of BERLIN TANGO and EVERYONE’S DELIGHT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. NIMBLE NIMBUS, ENCOUNTERED and GORYTUS were sent for sampling.
