On jumping, AEROFLASH, which was fractious in the barriers, began awkwardly and lost ground. Before being allowed to race again, AEROFLASH will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. HAPPY WIN WIN began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped AMAZING SATCHMO. SHANGHAI RUSKY was slow to begin. LONDON HALL was crowded for room on jumping between BULLISH GLORY and JOYFUL FAMILY, both of which shifted ground. From the outside barriers, DYNASTA and GOOD DAYS were steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover. Near the 550 Metres, CHEERFUL STAR got its head on the side and lay out away from GOD OF DRAGON as that horse shifted out from behind MISTER MONTE. After this, CHEERFUL STAR continued to lay out away from GOD OF DRAGON. At the 500 Metres, GOOD DAYS was directed to the inside of LONDON HALL as that horse shifted out to obtain clear running. In the early part of the Straight, KING’S MAN lay in and near the 300 Metre was shifted out away from the heels of AMAZING SATCHMO. Passing the 150 Metres, AEROFLASH was awkwardly placed inside the heels of BULLISH GLORY. Near the 100 Metres, GOOD DAYS was shifted in away from the heels of AMAZING SATCHMO. Throughout the race, JOYFUL FAMILY travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground. A veterinary inspection of JOYFUL FAMILY immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse’s trachea. The performance of JOYFUL FAMILY, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, JOYFUL FAMILY will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. After the race, M F Poon reported that DYNASTA was making an abnormal breathing noise during the race. A veterinary inspection of DYNASTA immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. A veterinary inspection of MISTER MONTE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. CHEERFUL STAR and GOD OF DRAGON were sent for sampling.
