After being loaded, PENGLAI XIANZI became fractious and reared. Then as the start was effected, PENGLAI XIANZI was slow to begin. CAPTAIN SWEET shifted out at the start and bumped STERLING CITY. EL ZONDA shifted out shortly after the start and bumped CHARLES THE GREAT. A short distance after this, CHARLES THE GREAT was steadied away from the heels of BULLISH CHAMPION which shifted in. When being steadied in an attempt to obtain a position with cover approaching and passing the 1000 Metres, CHARLES THE GREAT proved difficult to settle and raced keenly. Near the 1000 Metres, ZAIDAN was steadied away from the heels of STERLING CITY. Making the first turn after the 900 Metres, TIME AFTER TIME got its head on the side and shifted out across the heels of ZAIDAN. Passing the 300 Metres, TIME AFTER TIME was momentarily steadied away from the heels of STERLING CITY (T Berry) which shifted in when not quite clear. T Berry was advised to exercise more care in future. After this, STERLING CITY continued to hang in under pressure. Passing the 100 Metres, CHARLES THE GREAT was momentarily awkwardly placed close to the heels of ZAIDAN. Approaching the 50 Metres, LEADING CITY was steadied away from the heels of CAPTAIN SWEET which got its head on the side and shifted out. For the majority of the race, PACKING OK travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of AASHIQ and CHARLES THE GREAT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. STERLING CITY and BULLISH CHAMPION were sent for sampling. <17/6/2013 Additional Veterinary Report>The Clinical Veterinary Surgeon reported that TIME AFTER TIME was found to be lame in its left front fetlock on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, TIME AFTER TIME will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
