YES WE CAN shifted out at the start and bumped the hindquarters of SOLAR POWER which became unbalanced. FAIRY FLOSS shifted out on jumping and bumped SUPER FAST. From wide barriers, INDIGENOUS FELLOW and LONDON LUCKYSTAR were shifted across behind runners shortly after the start. Despite being ridden along for some distance in the early stages, SUPER FAST failed to muster speed. Near the 1100 Metres, AMAZING TEENS got its head up when awkwardly placed outside the heels of TOYCOON which shifted out marginally away from the heels of FAST PACE. After this, TOYCOON travelled wide and without cover. After the 1000 Metres, HANG’S DECISION (Z Purton) lay in when being ridden along to maintain its position. After the race, Z Purton reported that after this, despite being vigorously ridden along, HANG’S DECISION did not respond to his riding rounding the Home Turn and in the early part of the Straight. A veterinary inspection of HANG’S DECISION immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Close to the finishing line, TOYCOON (J Moreira) lay out towards the heels of YES WE CAN, resulting in J Moreira not being able to fully ride his mount out passing the winning post. In the Straight, SOLAR POWER lay out under pressure. For the majority of the race, AMAZING TEENS travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of FAIRY FLOSS immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Before being allowed to race again, FAIRY FLOSS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of INDIGENOUS FELLOW immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. TOYCOON, SOLAR POWER and YES WE CAN were sent for sampling.
