DRAGON BABY shifted out at the start, resulting in JUBILATION being crowded for room inside RING BELLS. In this incident, both DRAGON BABY and JUBILATION became badly unbalanced.
HANDSOME GUYS shifted out at the start and bumped I BELIEVE IN MAGIC which became unbalanced.
ABOVE ALL began awkwardly.
Shortly after the start, VENTO shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of STRIVE FOR GLORY.
At the 900 Metres, HANDSOME GUYS was eased away from the heels of EIGHT TRIGRAMS.
Passing the 900 Metres, HANDSOME GUYS was bumped by LUCKY TREASURE which got its head on the side and lay out.
Passing the 300 Metres, LUCKY TREASURE was shifted out away from the heels of HANDSOME GUYS after being awkwardly placed behind that horse.
Approaching the 100 Metres, FLYING HIGH got its head on the side and lay out towards the heels of VENTO.
After the race, M Chadwick (FLYING HIGH) reported that it was intended for FLYING HIGH to be ridden with cover, however, after beginning very well, due to the circumstances of the race in the early stages, he was not able to obtain cover.
A veterinary inspection of EXCELLENT PEERS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
EIGHT TRIGRAMS and VENTO were sent for sampling.
