STRONG ALLIANCE began awkwardly and shifted out towards the heels of GALACTIC. Then after failing to show speed, STRONG ALLIANCE was shifted across behind runners to obtain cover. Passing the winning post on the first occasion, PEARL CHAMPION was awkwardly placed inside the heels of MANNA FROM HEAVEN which was shifting in. Approaching the 1300 Metres, DIONYSUS COLLIN momentarily raced tight inside SUPERB DADDY which was taken in by FA FA which was then directed out to relieve the tightening. After this, SUPERB DADDY, despite being ridden along, was unable to maintain its position between DIONYSUS COLLIN and FA FA. Making the turn near the 1150 Metres, AMAZING BOY became unbalanced after shifting in and brushing the running rail of its own accord. For some distance after the 1100 Metres, RAGING BLAZE was very awkwardly placed close to the heels of PEARL CHAMPION and making the turn approaching the 1000 Metres shifted out and inconvenienced DIVINE UNICORN. Then after the 900 Metres, RAGING BLAZE continued to travel keenly and shifted ground on a number of occasions when racing close to the heels of PEARL CHAMPION. Passing the 800 Metres, DIONYSUS COLLIN raced tight inside OFF THE REEL which shifted in away from the heels of RAGING BLAZE. Passing the 300 Metres, PEARL CHAMPION was directed to the outside of MANNA FROM HEAVEN to obtain clear running. Throughout the race DIVINE UNICORN travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of SUPERB DADDY, DIVINE UNICORN and RAGING BLAZE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. MANNA FROM HEAVEN and FA FA were sent for sampling.
