CHARITY GO began awkwardly and shortly after the start shifted out and bumped RUTHVEN. Passing the winning post on the first occasion, INSAYSHABLE was steadied away from the heels of TURIN REDSTAR which was racing tight inside CHARITY GO. INSAYSHABLE was then awkwardly placed behind TURIN REDSTAR for a short distance. After the 1200 Metres, CHARITY GO got its head up when racing keenly and awkwardly placed behind RUTHVEN. Approaching the 250 Metres, VICTORY BOYS was momentarily held up for clear running behind RUTHVEN which shifted out marginally when commencing to give ground. After the race, S de Sousa reported that TURIN REDSTAR travelled satisfactorily in the early stages, however, came under pressure after the 700 Metres at which time he had to ride his mount along with some urgency. He said TURIN REDSTAR briefly responded to his riding, however, again came under heavy pressure rounding the Home Turn and then was disappointing in the manner in which it failed to finish off the race. A veterinary inspection of TURIN REDSTAR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. A veterinary inspection of CIRCUIT GLORY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious. TURIN REDSTAR, CITRON SPIRIT and VICTORY BOYS were sent for sampling. <21/3/2019 Additional Veterinary Report>After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that VICTORY BOYS was distressed. Before being allowed to race again, VICTORY BOYS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
