HIGH AND MIGHTY stood flat-footed as the start was effected and consequently lost a considerable amount of ground. Before being allowed to race again, HIGH AND MIGHTY will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial. As the start was effected, HINYUEN SWIFTNESS lifted its front feet off the ground, began awkwardly and then was bumped by BANK ON RED. BEAUTY KINGDOM shifted out at the start and bumped WINSTON’S LAD. EASY TOUCH and OUTLAWED bumped at the start. CELESTIAL ARROW travelled keenly for some distance after the 1200 Metres. For some distance passing the 900 Metres, BEAUTY KINGDOM was awkwardly placed close to the heels of OUTLAWED (C Schofield) which shifted in when not properly clear. C Schofield was severely reprimanded and advised to ensure that he provides sufficient clearance when shifting ground. Approaching the 800 Metres, HIGH AND MIGHTY raced in restricted room inside WINSTON’S LAD. After the 800 Metres, CELESTIAL ARROW was left racing wide and without cover. HIGH AND MIGHTY was crowded for room rounding the Home Turn between CELESTIAL ARROW and SUPER LEADER which was taken out by LUCKY DOUBLE EIGHT which was shifted out away from the heels of PENANG HALL. Throughout the race, WINSTON’S LAD travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of BEAUTY KINGDOM immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. A veterinary inspection of OUTLAWED immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Before being allowed to race again, OUTLAWED will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. PENANG HALL and GREEN CARD were sent for sampling.
