BONITO was slow to begin. PRINCE HARMONY, which was fractious in the barriers, lifted its front feet off the ground as the start was effected, began awkwardly and consequently lost ground. From the outside barriers, MASTER STEED and LETSGOFREE were both shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Approaching the 1100 Metres, ROYALE ELEGANCE got its head on the side and lay in across the heels of HOUSE OF FUN. Passing the 1100 Metres, FLYING GODSPELL was shifted out away from the heels of HOT HOT PEPPER as that horse crossed into the lead. In this incident, FLYING GODSPELL shifted out, resulting in LONDON MASTER shifting out away from FLYING GODSPELL and bumping UNIQUE JOYFUL. Approaching the 1000 Metres, CARRY TO WIN commenced to prove difficult to settle and got its head up for some distance when being steadied to allow HOT HOT PEPPER to cross. Approaching the first turn near the 900 Metres, PRINCE HARMONY shifted out away from the heels of UNIQUE JOYFUL when proving difficult to settle, resulting in ROYALE ELEGANCE being inconvenienced and momentarily taken wider. After the 900 Metres, UNIQUE JOYFUL was left racing wide and without cover. After the 300 Metres, CARRY TO WIN was disappointed for running inside HOT HOT PEPPER which shifted in marginally. Near the 150 Metres, BRIGHT STAR was shifted to the inside of CARRY TO WIN after being disappointed for running between that horse which shifted out and LONDON MASTER. Passing the 100 Metres, LONDON MASTER was shifted in away from the heels of FLYING GODSPELL. HOUSE OF FUN and MASTER STEED were sent for sampling.
