On arrival at the barriers, the tongue tie fitted to SPARKLING B was replaced. Also on arrival at the Start, TURIN PEARL was noted to have blood at the mouth. A veterinary inspection of TURIN PEARL found that horse to be suitable to race. Prior to the start being effected, HAPPY CERAMIBO turned its head to the left and as the start was effected began awkwardly and lost ground. Before being allowed to race again, HAPPY CERAMIBO will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. After this, HAPPY CERAMIBO was ridden along in the early stages to take up a forward position and in the Straight gave ground. BRIGHT STAR, which was leaning on the outside of its stall, began awkwardly and shortly after the start became unbalanced when bumped on a number of occasions by TARZAN I AM which shifted in. Shortly after the start, AFFLUENCE OF RAIN raced in restricted room between TURIN PEARL and MISTER MARC which shifted in. After the 1100 Metres, AFFLUENCE OF RAIN momentarily raced in restricted room inside TURIN PEARL which shifted in before being corrected by its rider. Making the first turn after the 900 Metres, BRIGHT STAR got its head up and shifted out towards the heels of AFFLUENCE OF RAIN. After this, BRIGHT STAR was awkwardly placed close to the heels of JUN HAO for some distance. Near the 800 Metres, ROMAN LEGEND was left racing wide and without cover. After the 800 Metres, SPARKLING B had to be ridden along to maintain its position when racing tight inside JUN HAO. Form some distance in the early part of the Straight, AFFLUENCE OF RAIN raced tight between ROMAN LEGEND and DUAL HAPPY. SPARKLING B was held up for clear running between the 400 Metres until near the 250 Metres. A veterinary inspection of HAPPY CERAMIBO immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. TARZAN I AM and SPARKLING B were sent for sampling.
