EVER BEAUTY began awkwardly and shortly after the start lost ground when crowded for room between GOLD BALL and FUN ‘N’ GAMES which shifted out. ORIENTAL PROSPER began awkwardly. GLORY HORSIE knuckled over shortly after the start. From a wide barrier, BOLERO was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. C Y Ho (PO CHING KING) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that after the 600 Metres he permitted his mount to shift in, resulting in VINTAGE HUSSLER being unnecessarily crowded for room, becoming unbalanced and losing the running to which it was rightfully entitled. CHINA POWER, which was following VINTAGE HUSSLER, was severely checked in consequence. C Y Ho was suspended from riding in races for a period to expire on Thursday, 24 January 2013 on which day he may resume race riding (2 Hong Kong racedays). This suspension is to take immediate effect. CHINA POWER made the Home Turn awkwardly and shifted out and in doing so bumped TOUCH GO. Passing the 300 Metres, FUN ‘N’ GAMES was shifted out away from the heels of CHINA POWER. A veterinary inspection of CHINA POWER after the race did not show any significant findings. GOLD RACER and TOUCH GO were sent for sampling.
