Shortly after the start, OPTIMIZATION STAR, which began awkwardly, shifted out towards the heels of BILLION, resulting in OPTIMIZATION STAR clipping the heels of that horse and blundering. FORTUNE BRAVO, which got its head up on a number of occasions after being loaded, began awkwardly and lost ground. After this, despite being ridden along, FORTUNE BRAVO failed to muster speed. From a wide barrier, SUPER BRAND was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Despite being ridden along in the early stages, BILLION failed to muster speed. Passing the 1200 Metres, BILLION was awkwardly placed close to the heels of SNITZEL KID. Near the 800 Metres, FORTUNE BRAVO shifted out when awkwardly placed close to the heels of HOLLYWOOD KISS. After this, FORTUNE BRAVO travelled wide and without cover. Approaching the 200 Metres, TRAVEL GUIDE momentarily raced in restricted room inside EASY AHEAD which shifted in. A veterinary inspection of FORTUNE BRAVO after the race did not show any significant findings. FORTUNE BRAVO, TRAVEL GUIDE and EASY AHEAD were sent for sampling.
