YELLOWFIN (G326): Bumped at the start. Approaching the 1500 Metres shifted in and away from CAPITAL LEGEND and as a result made contact with FIGHTING MACHINE. Bumped and taken wider near the 300 Metres.
TOP GUN (J249): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
LUCK IS BACK (J398): Jumped awkwardly, shifted out, made contact with YELLOWFIN and lost ground. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

APACHE PASS (D433): After the event, L Ferraris confirmed that he was instructed to hold an on-pace position but APACHE PASS was under pressure from the 400 Metres and gave ground in the Home Straight. Trainer D Eustace confirmed the instructions issued. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
PERFECT TEAM (H120): Jumped only fairly. Approaching the 600 Metres was steadied to avoid LUCK IS BACK. Near the 300 Metres was taken wider by JOLLY RULER. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
FIGHTING MACHINE (J015): Bumped near the 1500 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
NAMJONG KINGDOM (K015): Raced very wide and without cover from the 800 Metres.
YOUNG BRILLIANT (H135): After the event, Trainer C H Yip advised that the instructions were to hold an on-pace position behind the expected leader YELLOWFIN. He said with the pace of the event being run slightly outside of standard time in the early stages, YOUNG BRILLIANT was able to cross to the lead and this was the principal reason for its improved performance tonight. Sent for sampling post-race.
CAPITAL LEGEND (G333): Raced keenly in the early stages. Approaching the 300 Metres was shifted to the outside of LESLIE to obtain clear running and made contact with YELLOWFIN. Approaching the 100 Metres was eased to avoid LESLIE (Apprentice P N Wong) which shifted out. Apprentice Wong was advised to exercise more care.
LESLIE (E471): Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. When questioned, Apprentice P N Wong stated that her instructions were to settle her mount where comfortable. She said LESLIE began well tonight and as a result she elected to take advantage of the good start and raced in a more forward position than LESLIE’S previous race starts.
NEVER TOO SOON (E434): No report.
ACE WAR (J509): Approaching the 600 Metres was steadied when crowded between TALENTS AMBITION and PERFECT TEAM which shifted to the outside of LUCK IS BACK when racing keenly.
JOLLY RULER (E346): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of YELLOWFIN as YELLOWFIN shifted out slightly. After the event, H Bentley advised that from a wide barrier he was instructed to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages.
BERLIN TANGO (E120): Withdrawn on 17.12.24 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (left front tendon injury) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter YELLOWFIN. Before being allowed to race again, BERLIN TANGO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
