Steward Report Predict Pace Map
KING INVINCIBLE (H199): Bumped at the start. Approaching the 100 Metres was briefly held up before being shifted to the outside of PLENTIFUL to obtain clear running. After the race, M Chadwick stated that after being bumped at the start and losing some ground, his mount did not travel thereafter and raced in a disappointing manner. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported. M Chadwick pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge for causing interference near the 800 Metres (see SUPER ELITE). PLENTIFUL (G400): Shifted in shortly after the start and was bumped on the hindquarters. After the race, L Ferraris reported that his mount lay in when placed under pressure in the Home Straight and did not respond to his riding. L Ferraris was warned in relation to using his whip forward of the saddle near the 50 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. PHILOS (H371): No report. GALLANT GOODY (H434): From the 700 Metres raced wide and without cover. HAPPY TANGO (D075): Sent for sampling post-race. SAME TO YOU (H057): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. SUPER ELITE (H247): Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. M Chadwick (KING INVINCIBLE) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 800 Metres he allowed his mount to shift in when not clear of SUPER ELITE, resulting in SUPER ELITE losing its running and being checked. M Chadwick was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Monday, 1 July 2024 at Sha Tin. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his excellent race riding record. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. GOOD VIEW GLORY (H154): Sent for sampling post-race. MULTIMORE (D443): Bumped at the start. GOODMANSHIP (E208): Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start was crowded between HAPPY TANGO and PLENTIFUL which shifted in. AUGUST MOON (D409): No report. EASY TWO (G423): Jumped only fairly and then was crowded by SUPER ELITE which jumped awkwardly and shifted in.
