EASY SNIP was slow to begin.
SO AWESOME jumped only fairly and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Near the 600 Metres and again near the 500 Metres, CAMINO lay in, brushed the running rail and became unbalanced.
Between the 300 Metres and the 150 Metres, WOOD ON FIRE was held up for clear running behind FIGHTING STAR.
Passing the 100 Metres, PRIME MORTAR shifted in and bumped CAMINO.
When placed under pressure in the Straight, EXUBERANT was inclined to lay in and proved difficult to ride out to the finish.
FIGHTING STAR raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
After the race, K C Leung (PRIME MORTAR) reported that his mount found it difficult to finish the race off under its top weight of 135 lbs. A veterinary inspection of PRIME MORTAR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
