MAGIC SUPREME shifted out on jumping and hampered INFINITE POWER. GREEN LASER shifted out at the start and inconvenienced SUPER BUDDY. LUCKY VICTOR was buffeted for room on jumping between MISSION BRAVO which was taken in by VIVA A LA which shifted in abruptly and SURREALISM which shifted out on jumping and then shifted out further after being bumped on the hindquarters by LUCKY VICTOR. After this, VIVA A LA was shifted across behind runners in the early stages to obtain cover. SURE JOYFUL and YES WE CAN bumped at the start. MURRAY’S PARTNERS was steadied on jumping to obtain a position closer to the rail. When being steadied to obtain cover behind INFINITE POWER, MAGIC SUPREME travelled keenly passing the 1200 Metres and was awkwardly placed behind that horse. LUCKY VICTOR travelled wide and without cover until after the 1000 Metres at which time MISSION BRAVO was left racing wide and without cover. YES WE CAN had difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight. Passing the 400 Metres, TURBO POWER shifted out and bumped SURREALISM. MAGIC SUPREME was held up for clear running from after the 300 Metres until passing the 200 Metres at which time the horse was shifted to the outside of LUCKY VICTOR. Near the 100 Metres, VIVA A LA was shifted in away from the heels of MAGIC SUPREME. The performance of MURRAY’S PARTNERS, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, MURRAY’S PARTNERS will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of MURRAY’S PARTNERS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. A veterinary inspection of MISSION BRAVO immediately following the found that horse to be distressed. Before being allowed to race again, MISSION BRAVO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. YES WE CAN and LADY FIRST were sent for sampling.
