TOUCH FAITH was withdrawn on 13.2.21 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (fever) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter FANTASTIC TREASURE (C Schofield). Before being allowed to race again, TOUCH FAITH will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. HOT CHILI PEPPER was crowded for room on jumping between SUNNY AND GOLD and FAMILY FOLKS which shifted in. EVERYONE’S DELIGHT shifted out at the start and bumped GOOD BUDDY. From wide barriers, FULL SAILING, FANTASTIC TREASURE and ALL YOU WANT were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After travelling a short distance, GOOD BUDDY was crowded for room between GALACTIC and EVERYONE’S DELIGHT which, when travelling keenly, got its head up and shifted out away from BULLISH UNICORN. Passing the 1100 Metres, EVERYONE’S DELIGHT, which was being steadied to obtain cover, was awkwardly placed inside the heels of GALACTIC. Also passing the 1100 Metres, ULTIMATE GLORY shifted out and bumped RUN DES RUN. After the 800 Metres, EVERYONE’S DELIGHT was left racing wide and without cover. Passing the 650 Metres, ALL YOU WANT, which was travelling keenly, improved into tight running between FULL SAILING and FANTASTIC TREASURE. EVERYONE’S DELIGHT got its head on the side and lay out rounding the Home Turn. Near the 350 Metres, FAMILY FOLKS was disappointed for running between BULLISH UNICORN and GALACTIC which shifted in. After this, GALACTIC and FAMILY FOLKS raced tight as FAMILY FOLKS shifted to the outside of BULLISH UNICORN to obtain clear running. As FAMILY FOLKS shifted to the outside of BULLISH UNICORN, GALACTIC was taken out, resulting in SMART WONGCHOY, which was endeavouring to establish running between GALACTIC and SUNNY AND GOLD, being crowded for room when initially disappointed for running between those horses. As the Stewards were of the opinion that SMART WONGCHOY had not established running to the outside of GALACTIC as that horse was taken out by FAMILY FOLKS, no further action was taken. Passing the 100 Metres, GALACTIC was steadied away from the heels of FAMILY FOLKS (T Piccone) which shifted out under pressure. T Piccone was reprimanded and advised to ensure that he makes every endeavour to prevent his mounts from shifting ground in similar circumstances. After the 100 Metres, HOT CHILI PEPPER got its head on the side and shifted out abruptly, requiring its rider to stop riding and straighten. ULTIMATE GLORY, which was racing outside HOT CHILI PEPPER, was inconvenienced in consequence. FANTASTIC TREASURE and SMART WONGCHOY were sent for sampling.
