HARRIER JET lost its right front plate when proceeding to the barriers. After being replated behind the barriers, HARRIER JET was examined by the Veterinary Officer who after the necessary consultations reported that the horse was suitable to race. HARRIER JET lost its right front plate passing the 1000 Metres. HIN YUEN BIS began only fairly and then was steadied away from the heels of MULTIMAX which shifted in. SPACE shifted out at the start and bumped JADE PHOENIX. From the outside barriers, SIMPLY FLUKE and PLAY TO WIN were shifted across behind runners in the early stages. H T Mo (MULTIMAX) was found guilty of a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that passing the 1100 Metres he permitted his mount to shift in when not clear of THE SHOW, resulting in that horse having to be checked and losing the running to which it was rightfully entitled. H T Mo was suspended from riding in races for the racemeeting to be conducted at Sha Tin on Sunday, 31 May 2020. As such, H T Mo is eligible to resume race riding on Monday, 1 June 2020. In addition, Jockey Mo was fined $7,500. After being ridden along in the early stages, DESTINE JEWELLERY was steadied passing the 1100 Metres to obtain cover when racing very wide. After the 800 Metres, THE SHOW was left racing wide and without cover. Making the turn after the 600 Metres, JADE PHOENIX and THE SHOW bumped. In the early part of the Straight, SIMPLY FLUKE raced tight outside KUNG FU TEA. Passing the 300 Metres, SPACE and JADE PHOENIX raced tight as JADE PHOENIX attempted to improve to the inside of INTERSTELLAR. Near the 150 Metres, HIN YUEN BIS was awkwardly placed outside the heels of SIMPLY FLUKE which shifted out marginally. HARRIER JET lay in under pressure over the concluding stages. A veterinary inspection of JADE PHOENIX and DESTINE JEWELLERY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. JADE PHOENIX, FLYING BONUS and INTERSTELLAR were sent for sampling.
