THIS ONE’S FOR YOU was crowded for room on jumping between GOOD RUNNERS WAY and CALIFORNIA LEGEND which shifted out.
HAY RUN began awkwardly.
From wide barriers, HURRICANE HUNTER and SUPER RED DRAGON were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Passing the winning post on the first occasion, TOUCH OF LUCK was momentarily awkwardly placed inside the heels of BOND ELEGANCE.
Passing the 800 Metres, GOLDEN MISSION and BOND ELEGANCE raced tight as BOND ELEGANCE shifted out from behind CALIFORNIA LEGEND. After this, GOLDEN MISSION was left racing wide and without cover.
BOND ELEGANCE had difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight and then near the 300 Metres was shifted to the inside of THUNDER STOMP which was commencing to give ground. After shifting to the inside of THUNDER STOMP, BOND ELEGANCE shifted in marginally passing the 250 Metres, resulting in TOUCH OF LUCK being momentarily crowded for room and becoming unbalanced.
After the race, the Veterinary Surgeon reported that TOUCH OF LUCK had bled from both nostrils.
A veterinary inspection of GOLDEN MISSION and GOOD RUNNERS WAY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, both horses were unable to be scoped due to being fractious.
ENFOLDING and THIS ONE’S FOR YOU were sent for sampling.
