SUPER HERO stood flat-footed as the start was effected and lost a considerable amount of ground. The performance of SUPER HERO, which subsequently finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, SUPER HERO will be required to begin with the field and perform competitively in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. ELITE PATCH shifted out at the start and bumped TANGMERE. From a wide barrier, SURREALISM was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners. Despite being vigorously ridden for a considerable distance in the early stages, SUMSTREETSUMWHERE failed to muster speed and consequently travelled wide and without cover throughout the race. Also throughout the race, CRUCIATUS travelled wide and without cover and subsequently finished tailed out. The performance of CRUCIATUS was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, CRUCIATUS will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. At the entrance to the Straight, SURREALISM was shifted in away from the heels of CRUCIATUS. After the 300 Metres, BEAUTY DAY commenced to lay out under pressure and passing the 100 Metres shifted out across the heels of YOUNG LEGEND. At the 150 Metres, ELITE PATCH was shifted out away from the heels of TRIUMPHANT HORSE which shifted out under pressure. A veterinary inspection of SUMSTREETSUMWHERE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious. A veterinary inspection of ELITE PATCH immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. YOUNG LEGEND and BEAUTY DAY were sent for sampling.
