VICTORY BOYS shifted out at the start and hampered MARVEL HERO. PRAWN BABA shifted in at the start and bumped PACKING DRAGON. At the same time, PACKING DRAGON was bumped on the hindquarters by HAPPILABABY which shifted out. CONSORT was shifted across behind runners in the early stages together with MARVEL HERO. Approaching the 150 Metres, CONSORT shifted out away from VICTORY BOYS and bumped MARVEL HERO, causing both horses to become unbalanced. After the race, J Moreira stated that, in his opinion, MARVEL HERO raced "flat” tonight and may not have backed up after its run last week. A veterinary inspection of MARVEL HERO immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. MARVEL HERO, PACKING DRAGON and PRAWN BABA were sent for sampling.
