HAPPY SURVEYS was slow to begin. Shortly after the start, LOADED was steadied away from the heels of FORTUNE BO BO which shifted in after being bumped by BOND ELEGANCE. DOUBLE VALENTINE and LUCKY DOUBLE EIGHT were steadied in the early stages to obtain cover. Passing the 900 Metres, G-ONE LOVER was shifted out away from the heels of CHEER WIN which was awkwardly placed outside the heels of BOND ELEGANCE. GRACYDAD travelled wide and without cover until near the 700 Metres. For some distance approaching and passing the 500 Metres, TOP ACT got its head on the side and lay out towards the heels of RACING MATE when reluctant to maintain its position inside that horse. Near the 30 Metres, CHEER WIN shifted in and brushed FORTUNE BO BO. For the majority of the race, CHEER WIN travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of LUCKY DOUBLE EIGHT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. FORTUNE BO BO and CHEER WIN were sent for sampling. <29/6/2017 Additional Veterinary Report>The Clinical Veterinary Surgeon reported that GRACYDAD was lame in its right hind leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, GRACYDAD will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
