From the outside barrier, SUPERNINSKY was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Approaching the 1300 Metres and again near the 1200 Metres, NOBLE DE BEST momentarily raced tight inside CLASSIC JEWELLERY (J Moreira) which got its head on the side and shifted in marginally. J Moreira was reprimanded and advised to ensure that he leaves sufficient racing room for runners to his inside in future. Passing the 900 Metres, NOBLE DE BEST and CLASSIC JEWELLERY raced tight as NOBLE DE BEST attempted to shift out from behind MY GOAL. In the early part of the Straight, PEPPERMINT had difficulty obtaining clear running and passing the 150 Metres was steadied away from the heels of ALWAYS SOMETHING. Approaching the 200 Metres, ALWAYS SOMETHING was awkwardly placed close to the heels of ONE OF A KIND when racing tight inside NOBLE BOY. BULLISH BOY and CLASSIC JEWELLERY were sent for sampling. <7/11/2013 Additional Veterinary Report> The Veterinary Officer reported that MAGNANIMOUS was found to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, MAGNANIMOUS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
