HAPPY WISDOM knuckled over badly at the start and lost a considerable amount of ground. From a wide barrier, WEALTH PARK was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. In the early and middle stages, LUCKY ARMY proved difficult to settle. For a considerable distance after the 1300 Metres, HAPPY WISDOM got its head up when racing fiercely and awkwardly placed close to the heels of GOLD FORTUNE. After the 1000 Metres, ALP’S GLORY was left racing wide and without cover. Approaching the 800 Metres, WEALTH PARK got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of GOLD TARTINI. Rounding the Home Turn, HORSESHOE FORTUNE was steadied away from the heels of SUPER HORSE. Approaching the 400 Metres, METREVELLI was shifted in away from the heels of AUSPICIOUS START after being awkwardly placed close to the heels of that horse which was giving ground. The performance of AUSPICIOUS START, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, AUSPICIOUS START will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. SUPER HORSE and HORSESHOE FORTUNE were sent for sampling.
