HAIR BEAUTY stumbled on jumping. SOLAR UP was slow to begin and shortly after the start was crowded for room between SUPREME GENKI and FLYING CHINA which shifted out. Shortly after the start, SUPREME GENKI shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of WHAT A HEART which became unbalanced. WHAT A HEART had to be ridden along for a considerable distance in the early stages to obtain a forward position and then in the Straight gave ground. At the entrance to the Straight, TARREGA was steadied away from the heels of WHAT A HEART which was commencing to give ground. Near the 250 Metres, SOLAR UP was shifted out across the heels of WHAT A HEART to obtain clear running. In the Straight, CHOIR got its head on the side and hung out. Throughout the race, CALL ME ACHIEVER travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground. A veterinary inspection of WHAT A HEART including an endoscopic examination after the race showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Before being allowed to race again, WHAT A HEART will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of CALL ME ACHIEVER after the race did not show any significant findings. O’HALO and SUPREME HONG KONG were sent for sampling.
